Root Canals

Your teeth are meant to last a lifetime. Even if one of your teeth becomes injured or diseased, it often can be saved through root canal (endodontic) treatment. New techniques have greatly reduced the time needed to perform a root canal, and also greatly limit the potential for discomfort. Modern methods and technology have improved most dental treatments and may provide a pleasant surprise for those who have avoided dental care for many years.

Dr. Lipscomb will diagnose your specific needs and perform the root canal procedure in his office. In most instances a crown is necessary to protect the tooth after the root canal is completed but it is usually a subsequent visit. In the event of a molar root canal, Dr. Lipscomb may refer the patient to an endodontist.
